can I purchase your Royal Products?
A. There are a number of home improvement retailers that
offer a wide range of Royal Group products, if they do not stock an item
you require it may be available through their special order program. To

Q. What about product warranties?
A. All of our products are covered under limited warranty. Please refer
to your Royal Product manuals for specific warranty details.

How difficult is the installation process?
A. An easy to follow installation manual is included
with each of our products if applicable. The manual will include helpful
hints designed to ensure that your project is a successful one. We strongly
recommend that you review your manual prior to construction, we also understand
that no matter how much information is provided there will be occasions
when assistance is required.
Q. Will I require a permit?
A. Always check with your local permitting office for
the regulations when installing a storage building, fencing or decking.
If you find that you do need a permit, they are simple to obtain in most
cases. Your local permit office will have an application form with instructions
they can mail or fax you. We can provide manuals and technical information
if necessary. Obtaining necessary permits is the sole responsibility of
the purchaser. Royal Group is not responsible for improper installation,
maintenance and repair of any of our products.
Q. Will the outdoor elements affect the PVC vinyl?
A. For over 30 years Royal Group Technologies has developed
and utilized the highest quality PVC vinyl on the market today. Royal
Group Technologies Limited is the largest extruder of PVC products in
North America, and an acknowledged global leader and innovator. Our many
years of research and development have allowed us the ability to develop
products that will withstand the often unforgiving North American climate
year in and year out.

My wood deck hasn’t weathered well. What keeps a Brock Deck plank
secure?
A. Our patented Clip-Strip® eliminates your problem.
These ingenious metal strips fasten the vinyl plank onto your deck or
dock’s wood, aluminum or steel substructure. With the hidden Clip-Strip
system, there is nothing for you to worry about.
The Clip-Strip is an exceptionally strong connector. Its unique design
allows for the natural expansion and contraction characteristics of vinyl.
Another advantage of our vinyl plank system is the elimination of the
"vinyl on vinyl" squeaking often found with two-piece vinyl
deck products.
Q. If I change my exterior
colors, can I paint my fence and railing to match?
A. Vinyl can be painted with special epoxy-based paints.
However, we don’t recommend it; this type of paint damages the vinyl
surface in order to adhere and doing so would void your warranty.
Q. So is a vinyl BROCK
DECK System maintenance-free?
A. Virtually. You don’t have to scrape, paint or
stain a BROCK DECK or railing. To keep it looking like new, you simply
wash it with a garden hose. The nonporous surface cleans easily and resists
stains. In the rare instance that a repair is required, individual components
or railing sections can be easily replaced.

Does BROCK DECK Systems meet building code requirements?
A. BROCK DECK Systems is the first manufacturer with
system certification by the nationally recognized code body BOCA. BOCA
Research Report #97-65 covers the deck, deck installation components and
6 specific railing styles and installation components.

The quality of the ingredients and the proportions are important. Royal Crown produces 100% of our products using the best UV protection and impact modifiers available.
Q. Can a homeowner install
a Triple Crown vinyl fence?
A. Depending upon the do-it-yourselfer’s skill level, yes.
However, some styles and site situations are best left to a professional.
The key is that your measurements and installation techniques must be
very accurate. Unlike wood were you can trim a little here or there, a
Triple Crown fence components can only be shortened. Remember you are
putting in a lifetime fence and a professional installation is your assurance
that the project will be a success.

Are we talking about vinyl as in vinyl windows or siding?
A. Yes, the basic formula and manufacturing process are
the same. The difference is that the vinyl formula has been specially
enhanced to meet the demands of a lifetime fence. The key to a durable
and beautiful vinyl fence is quality ingredients and the right recipe.
Q. You talk about a vinyl
formula. Isn’t it just plastic?
A. Generically vinyl is a plastic. The chemical name
is polyvinyl chloride or PVC for short. The natural ingredients used to
make the vinyl resin are combined with chemical additives to make it rigid
and strong enough for fencing.
